Felli won't leave this season due to him just signing a new contract so the transfer fee would be huge. I'd say the Sky 4 teams will be looking to come in for him next Summer.

Pienaar wants to stay and according to LCAB the deal is practically done.

Johnny ain't going anywhere this season. He's in line to be the next captain imo and seems to love the club now that he's finally getting the treatment he deserves.

I'm strangely positive about the Summer really, particularly if we manage to get ourselves into Europe and have a strong finish in the league.

Great post here mate! Heitinga only spoke about leaving because after the world cup final he came back to everton and was left on the bench constantly and was played out of position. I understand his frustration towards this, thank goodness he has cemented a spot and shows what a real talent he is. Felli would be silly to leave, it was a unexpected of him to sign a contract for 5 years unless he knew something was going on. (takeover perhaps?)

If moyes wins the fa cup this year and or we make it to Europe there is a strong chance we would be taken over. I remember moye's saying that 40 points is what he was looking for this season. Maybe it's an indication that if he manages to keep Everton in the League and make it to Europe we would be bought out. All to positive thoughts! CoYB!

He's Lee Carsley with a better passing range and a tad more hair

True this he even runs like Lee Carsley.

We never were able to replace him and he was mega important to Everton.

Delighted we seem to have cloned him in Gibson. Who does look for a forward pass too.

I like him.

were you not told matt

I reserved judgement as per. But was open minded trusting the manager.

You can see this in the first ten pages of this thread where "the usual suspects" were slaughtering Gibson before he kicked a ball.

Gibson has been prone to the odd misplaced pass and error. But he's defo solid.

If he's fit for the semi, defo stick him in. He adds balance to the midfield.

I like him. He'll never be Messi but he does the simple things well and gives Fellaini more freedom to be expressive.

Well done Moyes, a good signing.

Balance.

An average central midfielder playing in central midfield will make you a better team than a good defender playing in central midfield.

He's done well here we can all see the improvement on the team since he's been playing. Sure he's not the gretest midfielder in the world (hence why we got him so cheap) but the skills he does bring improve our team so much.
