This isn't a bad buy, actually, but as Xavi says, we need creativity and Gibson almost surely won't give us that. It means we won't see heitinga or Neville in midfield again which is positive but it's ALL about getting a striker in now, seeing as we don't have much, or indeed any funds to be getting permanent signings in.

I would like to hope that Moyes will turn to Barkley because he could provide the creative spark. Sooner rather than later.
