Bbc just make some truly horrific calls on football commentators and pundits. How are they so bad at it?

Its not just him, I find its most of them.
I remember when we lost to the RS at Anfield, when Ross had that stinker...he tried to get on the ball and just messed everything up.
Coutinho created a goal, and Jamie Redknapp said "Thats what Ross is missing from his game, the consistancy". And just as he said that....this stat come up at the bottom of the screen "Coutinho's first assist in 10 games".
Clueless.

The thing with Lawrenson is that he`s that dull, you can kind of just switch of and tune him out after a bit.
Murphy is that much of a bellend, the more you listen to him, the more you get wound up.
Whilst I really cannot stand Danny Murphy, I had to turn his commentary off on Sunday and listen to Chris Waddle instead, he was THAT bad!! England don’t really do it for me, never have done, so I watched that game pretty much as a neutral. Whilst listening to Murphy, it wasn’t his bias that was getting me riled, it was him and his monotonous, pompous, arrogant ramblings.
People love to moan and be offended these days. To complain and be offended about an English commentator being bias towards his country? Really? In a World Cup. Some people need to get a life
I can actually see your point . Also With lawrenson he has the fact he’s getting old and probably repeatedly headed a heavy football in mitigation, Murphy has nothing other than he’s a belter .

I'm sorry, I'm not having this. I've tried to sit and watch this game (which looks a good one) but I'm not prepatred to listen to that utter spanner for one second longer. He's ruining this World Cup. He's the human Vuvuzela. Who talks like that anywhere in this world about football other than that nobhead?
