Anyone trying to to complete the rapha 500? I am going to give it a shot, weather dependent!
Was thinking about the soft-man's version of it as you can do it inside, and I've got a couple of long zwift rides to do to complete the route badges. Have a cyclocross race on the Monday, though, which bollexs the idea up as I need to take it easy on the days around it.

Good luck if you try that outside. If the weather looks poor I'd prob make a decision straight off on it, and not bother unless you're super motivated and certain you had the time. It's very hard racking the miles through the wind, rain and cold.

I wish I could do some inside but no capacity for that. I’m fine with wind but the rain i don’t feel safe cycling in.

Quick update. 197km left with three days to go.

weather looks good just bloody cold.

coincidentally, completing it would take me to exactly 4000km for the year which would be an incredible achievement for me and more than make up for quitting football.

anyone else been trying to complete the festive 500?
158km to go for me.

Only possible due to lack of family commitments this year. Like you, I got the big ride in on Christmas Eve.

Not done the festive 500 but knocked off an indoor century today, the PRL full on zwift. Hardest route as it is so boring, but did it with a friend who is a bit of a beast, and got driven round basically. Just that Box hill needed an effort, eleven times up it and we did it faster each time, until the tenth blew me up. Last two laps were v tough.
Best part of 6 hours on the turbo is not something Ill be repeating, but felt ok considering. A lot less sore than the last long one I did.
