It's more a case of not engaging in a pi$$ing contest with a contrarian who gets their rocks off by trying to be edgy and winding people up. If someone has a reasonable position on something that you don't quite agree with then I'd agree that is a healthy situation to engage. If someone is just wanting to get a hardon by winding others up or going against the grain, repeatedly, then why would you want to waiste your time engaging? They don't want to find common ground and just keep looking for ways to trigger others.

It never & they were not that great - I was at a game where fans died v Millwall at home in the FA CUP - nothing great about that mate plus we got beat 2-0 to a lower division side - they came looking for trouble they got it in spades - horrific scenes though knifing's chain bars etc they came to take the Gwladys street end - it kicked off bad style - so no they were not the good old days.....

As a teenager, seeing St John's stretchers with blood dripping through them was not a nice memory ......

When you are dealing with the 'we have had enough of experts' crowd, like an addict, you have to let them find their own bottom then support them when they are ready. If they never are cast that negativity out of your life with the beautiful ignore button.

I think you all need to stop being lemons and crying over an internet site and open the door, step out take a walk, breathe fresh air, smile a pretty girls in summer dresses (without scaring them you’re about to sex attack them) and realise there is a world outside of grand old team dot com slash forum.

Let’s face it guys, you’re weirdos and losers. There’s little other in your lives hence why you’re being arsy and passive aggressive on here, where you’ve projected all your self worth and build loose connections with faceless avatars that you consider your closest friends.

I damage the most precious egos out of love, in the hope you realise how absurd and contrite you look, once the tantrum has subsided, and that acts as a springboard for change. Sure it’s a selfless and thankless task but here’s a few of us on here who share your stupidest posts on WhatsApp and just casually swoop to antagonise you into hopefully seeing sense and stop being a dweeb on the internet.

Sure I might have made that last bit up but see the insecurity pang it gave you on reading it just then. That’s your enemy, not me. Face yourself buddy, in THE NEW ARENA.
