What if the scientists are right (which is highly likely) but we listen to wombles like you and continue to speed, headfirst into the abyss? I mean,it is quite a risk to take if we are honest. Unless you actually believe that it is fine to continue releasing carbon at the rate we do and continue burning fossil fuels that is. Do you think it is OK to continue as there is no scientific proof that they are causing issues? Shall we continue deorestation of the worlds rainforests also?
Who cares about the melting polar ice caps also, right?
trees lock up carbon as far as i know and much more could/should be planted.
i don`t see much push-back/media frenzy against the murder of activists in the rainforests trying to stop logging which seems strange compared to the hype Greta Thunberg received. why would this be so? your thoughts?
the ice-caps are fine, always have been.
the 13,26,52 thousand year cycles come and go. we`re the nearest to the Sun we will ever be on these trajectories and are heading away into a proper ice-age in approx 13 thousand yrs.
there were reports recently of heaviest snow or ice build-up in Antarctica - i wouldn`t expect the media to report on this though.
"Global warming" is actually global cooling.
btw. i like the "Wombles" analogy - thanks. they cared about their environment, cleared rubbish etc. good choice of a Freudian slip ?
