Rogan has doubled down since getting that big Spotify exclusivity cash. He doesn’t have to worry about YouTube dumping his channel any more so now we are seeing him close to his true self.

I used to enjoy the odd episode of his podcast a few years back. He seemed harmless enough on the surface and although most of his guests were either his dullard comedian friends or some super-athlete talking about their diet for 4 hours straight, he occasionally had some very interesting people on.
The one with Johann Hari talking about the history of the war on drugs is excellent for example. (For the content Hari talks about rather than Rogan)

I tuned off for good though due to him repeatedly giving a platform to Alex Jones and failing repeatedly to pull him on some of the dangerous stuff he was spewing. The Sandy Hook stuff is as particularly vile.

Not to mention his putting pseudo intellectual bore Peterson on a pedestal every time he’s on ?

TL;DR
Rogan is a bad meat head, swerve his show.

Peterson with another great take on something he clearly knows nothing about, there is no basis for his statement other than to appeal to a racist crowd.

@Prevenger17 's hero has to be the most overrated voice of the last decade, even most rogan fans don't consider him an intellectual. Can only imagine the sort of creatures that attend petersons make your bed rallies, the eunich sounding little toad

Good to see my Walken Peterson tag-ins are still going

Two massive grifter-idiots. Their new book "Hunter-Gatherer Guide, blah blah blah" is so utterly dumb. It got trashed by Stuart Ritchie (not exactly a left-winger) in The Guardian.

Two cabbages there and no mistake.

Academic path not typical for grifters at all - big barriers to entry for little financial incentive. I know he was at some sort of clown college but I assume he trained to a decent level before embracing the grift.

Yeah, both have Ph.D's in biology from University of Michigan. Heather Heying even wrote a narcissistic book on Madagascar called "Antipode." I read Bret's dissertation, it was clearly a mish-mash of stuff--nothing dumb but nothing ground-breaking. Neither continued to be publishing academics after they finished. They bought into the grift after Bret's incident at Evergreen State, but they have tumbled quite far into disrepute, especially once COVID hit and there was money to be made by playing "da professor" who is "just asking questions" all the while promoting massively debunked "covid science."

I think he's genuinely gone off the deep end. His mind has snapped like a brittle twig and now he wanders the streets of LA in a tuxedo looking for podcasts that will listen to him as he tries to assemble the few words he has left in his vocabulary into grammatically correct sentences

Disagree that his mind has snapped - he nearly always was one of those contrarian voices that agreed with the powerful, those who “the MSM” attacked etc.
