Imagine I owned a burger restaurant and stuck up a few anti-racism posters. If someone came in and started complaining that I sold burgers imbued with values that deeply troubled them I'd tell them to gtfo too. Go buy a whopper burger from the KKK-sizzler diner down the road.

Farage is comedy gold though. Pissing myself at that. Either he's legit done something dodgy or he's making a mountain out of a mole hill for attention.

Mate I was actually going to reply with a very similar scenario

The other thing to add is that they're crying because their attempt to shut down freedom of expression and debate got shut down. Which is pretty insidious in and of itself.

Which is my biggest gripe with most of these turds. They aren't actually interested in a plurality of views or debate, they cry censorship because they are being prevented from doing the very same thing they object to. Alternatively it is a crude way of trying to shut people down. "I've been no platformed" stated via a massive platform usually lol.

I love that it’s a couple of vicars having it out. Forgive me vicar what chapter of the bible talks about gender? They must have missed the part about love thy brother and sister. Pretty sure it didn’t mention only loving your brother if he still Lives as a brother

TBF these religious who make a living out of being outraged are often not as they appear - this for example vicar is "retired" (at 62!), and somewhat oddly the evangelical body he runs is in fact a company that had a turnover last year of £260k, with £234k going on "administration" and 12k given in charitable donations. It is also a bit of a red flag that nowhere on the legal paperwork does he refer to himself as "Reverend" (as opposed to one other directors who does).

Then of course there is that newly-ordained deacon in the minor Anglican sect who for some reason has his own TV show.

Sorry mate. Just making Mrs Bluerob a bacon butty and getting ready to go out but I will reply to this properly later

Of course she’s taking longer than she said so I’ll reply quick now.

I agree with most of what you said mate but in this case there is something a little different about this “business”. It’s not a business, I noticed it When I clicked the link but didn’t think I had time to look into it properly. Basically that’s a trust, it’s not a private limited company as you know them. They’ll probably have a trust deed but they are a registered charity

Also details of how they operate are on their incorporation document

Edit* it won’t let me put a link to that so follow this link and go back to their first filing

Apparently it's a campaign by cancel culture banks...

“They didn’t justify it - they said ‘your comments will not stand’. I think its fairly sinister and we’re in very dangerous water when banks can pick and choose who they’re going to do business with based on prejudicial whims”.

I wonder what the people frothing over this made of the recent US news that the web designer can choose not to work for hypothetical gay clients as it goes against her beliefs?

Me be allowed to discriminate against you = victory for free speech
(((Them))) being allowed to discriminate against me = dangerous waters based on prejudicial whims, a new and sinister form of cancel culture

Yes, as I say in a later post it's subtly and insidiously framed as a reasonable standpoint but is actually as bad as anything the group they're writing about may have done or is alleged to have done.

I bet @Toffee_Loaf tried to google "kkk-sizzler diner near me" after reading that.
