There appears to be a realignment of the star’s recently where whoppers like farage, trump and Tate are getting what they deserve
It makes me very, very happy
Replying with the wrong account there fella."White Privilege" lol
send him the contents of his account in coppers covered in anthrax courtesy of me. ta.I may or may not work for the banking group he’s been exited from in the department that had him slung
Not to be seen 'playing the ref' here as I think the mod team in general do a good job on this forum, it does irk me that people get away with such openly transphobic hatred on here. So, I may have had a few bevvies and be a bit less reserved than usual, but I have a take.
If you hate trans people you are a spineless sycophant choosing the most acceptable, marginalised punchbag on the planet. @Toffee_Loaf
Also, my further stance is, I don’t think GoT mods should be allowing people like Loaf, (or Oddball / the monthly adversus) to exist in this space when they are outright spouting rhetoric which is tantamount to hate crimes.
I get that Current Affairs is less moderated, which is fine with reasonable political disagreements.
However @Toffee_Loaf as an example has been spouting genuinely really offensive transphobic and homophobic rhetoric for a while now, and I don’t think it belongs on this site, nor do I understand why it’s been allowed to continue.
Absolutely, toffee oaf used the phrase 'weird trannies' the other day when he was implying gay/trans people want to see naked children in a Pride parade. Shocked that was deemed acceptable. Not to be seen 'playing the ref' here as I think the mod team in general do a good job on this forum, it does irk me that people get away with such openly transphobic hatred on here.
I get there should be room for the gritty end of discussing the big topics of the day, but I have seen people throw words like 'tranny' around which is an outright slur:
Tranny
“Tranny” was originally a term used by transgender people to refer to themselves.
However, over time it started to be used differently - by people who did not consider themselves transgender, to refer to transgender people pejoratively.
As a result, it is now normally considered a slur and to be offensive, but some people who adopted the “tranny” identity in the past still use it. Others have also attempted to reappropriate the term by using it to describe themselves positively.

If you are dropping the N word, calling people f*gs or m*ngs on here, you will be rightly reprimanded, I think this should also be added to the list.
This is the crux of it for me. Todays trans people are yesterdays, gays, black,Asian Jewish people. People like toffee-oaf would have been in here If possible 50 years ago targeting blacks, 30 years ago targetting gays and a 100 years ago Jewish people. So, I may have had a few bevvies and be a bit less reserved than usual, but I have a take.

Agree entirely, bigotry hiding in semantics and ignoring context is the plague of many a forum. So, I may have had a few bevvies and be a bit less reserved than usual, but I have a take.

I understand what you're saying but disagree that making jokes is just as bad. Jokes can be offensive sometimes. Offense isn't legal currency. Scousers get the piss taken out of them for being thieves. I personally don't care, but others do. Obese people, little people, old people, are still openly targeted for jokes and people seem less bothered about their "rights" because they're not a popular marginalised group.I can’t say I browse the forum and different topics in depth so off hand I can’t think of anything outright transphobic but I have reported a few comments. For me the light hearted stuff of which there’s a lot of it is just as bad. “It’s just a joke” isn’t an excuse. I bet the majority of the people posting the light hearted stuff probably aren’t transphobic but posting it feeds into the acceptance of any of it. Bottom line it might not be offensive to us but a trans person coming across the “joke” wouldn’t find it funny.
Bit of a tangent, seeing Americans call everyone a snowflake over offence by something say this light hearted jokey trans stuff. Joke about taking away their guns and see how funny they find that. They’ll probably raise a militia. Nobody can tell somebody else they don’t find something offensive or what they should find offensive.
No need for that. Gareth Bale is a fine role model for today's youth, he does a lot for charities.Agree entirely, bigotry hiding in semantics and ignoring context is the plague of many a forum.
Some genuinely dangerous, hateful bale is spouted by these oafs and such folk were rightly banned for dangerous misinformation during the pandemic.
