Who was that far right peenarse who used to have Patrick Bateman as their avatar? I had them on ignore. Think they got banned in the end.

It's probably them.

Could be for sure. But I'll do a thorough scan to confirm if necessary, so it's best that this jobber just come clean now. Nobody wants to see this getting unsavoury

Musk fan boys are the absolute worst.

You'll see them come out on here soon.
I responded to his tweet saying that I hope the platform doesn't become a haven for misinformation under his ownership. One of his followers Google'd me, found my email, and hoped that I would die. Given the general nature of the other 7,000 or so replies the tweet got, I'm inclined to think dying might be less painful.

TBF the idea that Twitter now isn’t filled with absolute scumbags spouting virulently racist / anti-Semitic hate is incredible. That place is a sewer, not a town square.

Musk on the other hand is just this decade’s Madoff

Both are confidence men, and their financial value is profoundly affected by that. I mean when was it Tesla made an actual profit again?
Madoff died broke in prison. Elon Musk is one of the richest men in the world because he creates value, electric cars and reusable rockets are so so different to the madoff ponzi scheme, to try and compare them because they are both confident men is just ridiculous.

Amazon didn't make any profit for like 20 years, does that make them an unsuccessful company?

A confidence man isn't what you think it is...

“creates value” lol

Musk’s antics - especially the raising of ever more outlandish products (that truck, the roadster, hyperloop, that brain thing and now robots) - should be a huge red flag.

Another red flag should be Tesla banking on EV cars, which almost every other car company is making as well (so they’ll never be likely to get the market dominance their share price suggests they already have).

Amazon is a good comparison because they actually did invest and actually have produced something that really has changed the world. Musk hasn’t, and with Tesla at least isn’t likely to.

For another comparison look at Musk’s one genuine success (SpaceX), and again please note how different a company it is to his other ones (is likely to dominate its sector, has a clear market, a clear plan and recent events have made it more likely to succeed).

That and about $5bn of public money.
