It's an article about the rise in transphobic hate crime, why would there be?

It was hate against LGBTQ mate just asking, as the nature of those murders was off the scale. They shouldn`t be forgotten which it seems they have been.

It's really hard to say.
As @Walken said above, it seems like certain groups of people have some sort of checklist to tick off.
Transphobia, anti-vaxx, climate change denial, hatred of 'woke lefty snowflakes' all seem to be bedfellows.
There's usually a selection of (if not all) MAGA, Putin was provoked, Andrew Tate/Jordan Peterson fandom, holocaust denial and the ever popular "tHeRe's tOo mAnY MiNoRiTieS oN tV" in there as well.

The frustrating thing about it from the transphobia standpoint, is hardly any of them have ever spoke to a trans person. They jump on this Fox news/Daily Mail scaremongering without informing themselves from the very people involved.

Growing up as a closeted gay young man was hard, but it's a relative walk in the park compared to some of the horrible stuff the trans community have to tolerate every day. Imagine reading the news every morning to see yet another news story or burned out celebrity calling into question your very right to exist. It must be exhausting.

The LGBTQ+ minorities are being used as political pawns mate, same as BLM. Everything is politicised now and you`ve just done the same thing in you post. Shame on you as a minority for not being able to see the writing on the wall and also using the same polarising tactics as the establishment decision makers.
You of all people should`ve noticed the sea-change.

I honestly can't be arsed checking, because I can't be arsed having a discussion with you. So if you don't, I'm definitely not bothering.

That news (should I accept it as credible or not?) shows a peaceful protest, protesting peacefully.

The protestors who "toppled" the statue in Bristol were charged by the CPS.

Charged doesn`t mean squat. When Stevie Starfish was caught blind-siding that DJ on cctv, he got charged with affray (in other words- riot) Stevie got off scot-free when he should`ve been done for GBH or something similar......and some people wonder why i`m cynical
