I too am concerned about Williams. I was before this summer, been banging the two new centre backs drum for months. People think we're alright though based purely on the numbers we have there.
It's like Marc Hottiger and Earl Barrett had a love child and then used an archaic form of torture rack to stretch him three fet taller than he should be, thus giving him the elegance of a drunk baby deer running across a sheet of ice.

It's nice that you're supporting the player mate, and it's not that I want him to be crap. It's just that he is.

Wasn't the worst debut in the world, but alternatively not one that fills me with confidence he can be an able deputy, until Coleman comes back (bearing in mind the standard of opposition we were up against). As many alluded to before him signing, he didn't offer us anything (apart from height) that JJ Kenny couldn't.

The manager has signed him twice. Now I'm not one to say that a manager should never be questioned etc, they are human and can make mistakes, but at least there is a history there which hopefully will point to the fact that he knows what he is getting with Martina and will use him correctly.
Not the same though, making a wrong prediction isn't the same as making a judgement on a player over the course of two years watching him.
Plus, loads of our fans predict us to finish above Liverpool every season.
