Doubt he would be. We've got Coleman and Kenny ahead of him at right back, and Baines and probably Robinson and any other left backs we bring in at left back.

I'd be utterly amazed if Cuco is still an Everton player on August 9, or whenever the transfer window closes.

If he plays 1 minute at left back this season someone needs to be tarred, feathered, stoned, and sacked.

If he slips into a League Cup match at right back because of injuries, I can live with it. He can actually cross a ball with his right foot.

Can't bring myself to rag on him. He's never spoken out against anyone, to my knowledge. Puts in the work quietly. It isn't his fault he's been played out of place and was, supposedly, the best option on the roster at that position at the time.

One of the worst players i have seen wear blue. Couldnt get on a southampton team but was good enough for us. Another Koeman mystery.

I think we would all agree that we don't necessarily want to badmouth our players but in this instance it is blindingly obvious we need to be looking at better options.
