It makes absolutely zero difference what anyone says on an internet forum - the club will try to sign whoever the manager wants to bring in. You can get behind them or you can stay at home, watch on telly and fume on said internet forum.

I remember when we signed Alcaraz.

People often forget that at some point, these "backups" will probably have to play in football matches. Due to the nature of football injuries/suspensions, we do not know which matches these will be. Some of you are acting ridiculous. He was Southamptons 3rd choice right back, and he will our third choice. We need a big squad next season and not every player will be a £30m signing.
