Like his attitude. No moaning, no fuss. Came here as a backup right-back with limited ability and, due to our incompetence in the transfer market, ends up being thrown in at left-back, where he gave it his best shot. The amount of stick the guy gets is unbelievable.

To be fair, he had nowt to moan about.

He must have thought we was in wonderland......third choice RB at Saints one moment, regular starter at Everton the next.

With 30k going in his pocket into the bargain.

Half his luck :pint2:

I take it you mean the stick he gets on this and other sites. Nobody else least of all him reads it. The players are oblivious of what we write about.

F`me.

Rowett must be as stupid as Koeman.

Brands is a genius - Williams, Klaasen and Martina all out of the door.

Never in my wildest dreams think that we`d get shut of those three in the same window.

I thought he was supposed to be highly rated manager? lol

..I doubt i’d moan following a massive signing fee plus £30k-£40k per week. He’s a very ordinary footballer. He’s also a very lucky man but it’s not his fault somebody was willing to take him on at this level.

I don’t care admitting that I’ve got a soft spot for Cuco. He might be rubbish but there’s far more targets to hate from last season’s team than him. At times I even thought he improved a lot to get himself to passable seeing he was being played out of position. Getting two assists from crosses with your wrong foot in a Sam Allardyce team shows a level of personal improvement that none of our other players managed last season.

Shame we couldn't get rid of some of these (Williams, Mirallas et al) on permanent deals, but hopefully that will come in time.

..as far as I know, Williams is in the last year of his contract so he’s probably gone for good. Be interesting how the club manage the contract situations of Baines and Jagielka who are also in their last year.
