I thought we would lose today. Not get blown out, just a respectable struggle and a 1-0 loss, having to travel, coming off an unbelievable high and short rest, with lots of injuries.

The biggest difference under DM is we are no longer so unbelievably tight and fearful in the final third. We’re not treating the ball like a grenade. We look like we expect to get the ball in good spots and we’re keeping our wits.

Players been given a few days off so hopefully they can enjoy some downtime and return to training on Wednesday/Thursday and take another 3 points off the Mancs to open up a gap on them. The prospect of finishing above Manchester United, regardless of their current state, is almost surreal.

They`ll be well up for it today, so that plus the fact that Arsenal have closed to 4 points and that they`ve had a run of bad results and are at home, ypu could say today might be like a cup final for them.
