The idea that they just whipped out an aftershave bottle and sprayed a weapons grade nerve agent with the "potential to kill thousands" on a door handle and sauntered off to Costa for a latte in civi cloths.......
Yep it just gets a stranger story by the day, knock on his door bang him on the head and make it looked like a botched robbery would have been far easier.BTW I'm not suggesting for a minute this wasn't Putin inspired, just that a lot doesn't add up.Don't quite understand this part tbh - I thought a Novichok agent meant that it was split into two (relatively non-toxic) parts, when mixed it formed the nerve agent. So if the reaction was slow enough you could indeed spray the two parts on a door handle and saunter off with no special precautions. But Dawn Sturgess was killed from spraying the discarded perfume bottle on herself directly, indicating that it was a single component poison. The idea that you would handle this stuff without gloves and a mask does seem crazy I agree.
You would think it would have been simpler to just use another ricin-pellet umbrella. There are probably a couple of them lying around the London KBG office. Er, I mean Russian Embassy.Yep it just gets a stranger story by the day, knock on his door bang him on the head and make it looked like a botched robbery would have been far easier.BTW I'm not suggesting for a minute this wasn't Putin inspired, just that a lot doesn't add up.

Flying someone in to do the job is odd as well with all the post 9/11 airline security it's all a bit John Le Carre, but stick the bottle in a diplomatic bag then give a sleeper a cheap day return and the jobs done. But then as stated earlier maybe just Putin taking the piss... because he can.You would think it would have been simpler to just use another ricin-pellet umbrella. There are probably a couple of them lying around the London KBG office. Er, I mean Russian Embassy.
Those two russian lads looked as much like civilians, as a gang from the Hereford gun club I witnessed boarding a flight to Kuwait City in the summer of 1990 for a supposed "weekender".
He's never recovered from once claiming the people of Hull thought Everton played great football in second season Martinez and that being justification for us keeping him on.
Actually, I wonder if these people of Hull were sports nutritionists who weren't too fond of the slush.... just passing through...
There is nothing more amusing than watching the UK media trying to be teacher’s pet. Trying to outdo each other to ‘expose’ the flaws in the two Russian’s TV interview. ‘They are not tourists but GRU (gasps of horror). This ‘Carry on Spying up the ‘Putin did it’ Kyper’ will be given fresh ‘impetus’ every now and again, when the UK government needs a helping hand politically (Brexit, Counter Terrorism and Border Security Bill, Withdrawal Bill etc.) or to curry favour with the US’s anti Russian agenda.
No wonder the two guys were ‘sweating, nervous, scared’ etc.. They must have done some research on wikipedia about British justice. They must be crapping themselves that the Russian authorities will hand them over due to the extradition treaty they have with the UK – European Convention on Extradition 1957 – which Russia joined in 1996 as a member of the Council of Europe.
They must be crapping themselves that they will suffer the same fate as all those miscarriages of justice handed out by the UK judiciary.
Maybe the media should spend their time investigating and looking at the ‘evidence’ presented by the MET.
The photograph of the two men simultaneously going through the corridor at Gatwick at the exact same time 16.22.43 has a time of 15.00 above the photo ‘CCTV1 = image of ‘Petrov’ at Gatwick airport at 15:00hrs on 02 March 2018. How can this be when the plane landed at 15.58 and the CCTV shows 16.22.45. Does that mean they have passed the CCTV at 16.22.35 and transported themselves back onto the plane that didn’t land until 15.58 by getting in a tardis? They looked confused with the photos and were talking about going through customs and not going through the Northern Terminal corridors that lead to the airport exit –which is where the CCTV image was taken.
Maybe the same tardis was used on the Sunday to transport them from Wilton Road – CCTV from Shell garage at 11.58 to Fisherton Road – which doesn’t exist in Salisbury as it is Fisherton Street (basic error when presenting shoddy evidence) at 13.05. If they had gone to Sergie Skripal’s house they would have been caught on CCTV going back to the town by either the Shell garage one or the one from the pub on Devices Road – which showed Sergie Skripal’s car at 13.30.
Tourists often get lost and they could have been trying to find the Old Sarum which is North West at the roundabout but they went left onto Wilton Road. or the Cathedral but took a wrong turn when coming out of the station. When they got to the Shell garage they saw a sign with a church on it – Churchfields – and turned left which leads down the Cathedral. Or they could have turned right and meandered around the roads to the cul-de-sac where the Skripals house is and then doubled back on themselves went down the road to Churchfield to avoid CCTV camera at the Shell garage all without being noticed.
But going to the Skripals house and spraying ‘military grade novichok’ –most deadliest thing known to humans -on the door handle, without anyone seeing them, with masks and gloves on for protection, taking it apart, putting it in the box, sealing it and dumping it in a charity bin, only for it to be found some 5 months later is the jackanory they are still running with as the only ‘plausible’ explanation. Pull the other one.
I always though CCTV pictures had the time and date on as shown with the airport image and the one at the station on the Saturday which shows 16.11.27 03/03/18. But the other photos at the station don’t show the time on the image but is on the top of the photo.
CCTV4 = image of both suspects at Salisbury train station at 11:48hrs on 04 March 2018
CTV8 = image of both suspects at Salisbury train station at 13:50hrs on 04 March 2018.C
Same as the images from Fisherton Road. CCTV4 = image of both suspects at Salisbury train station at 11:48hrs on 04 March 2018CCTV7 = image of both suspects (rear) on Fisherton Road, Salisbury at 13:08hrs on 04 March 2018.
Of course it’s not Fisherton Road but Fisherton Street.
Maybe such a mistake have occurred with the times as well. Fisherton Street is quite close to the Cathedral so they would have walked along there to get back to the station. They stopped on the way to look in the shop window of Dauwalders before being at the station at 13.50 if that is indeed the time.
The MET said they got back into Waterloo at 16.45. No CCTV footage. Then it shows them at Heathrow at CCTV9 = image of both suspects at Heathrow airport security at 19:28hrs on 04 March 2018 .In between Salisbury station and the airport one of them has got a suitcase. If they left it at Waterloo then it would go through scanners like at airports. Surely, there must be CCTV images. This incident only has legs if the UK government can put Putin in the frame.. So far they’ve been found wanting.
So are you saying it definitely wasn’t them then......
