I almost wonder if this is not just a part of an overall foreign policy by Putin. I mean think about, the US is busy fighting among itself over Trump, The UK doing same over Brexit, much of the EU/NATO nations are squabbling domestically over how best to deal with immigration and such - and somewhat with each other on all those domestic things that have international ramifications. What a great time to be Putin watching the EU/NATO/West world all up in arms internally.

The Brits are focusing on Russia over the alleged GRU agents, half the US is focusing on what Russia may have done in the 2016 election....it's almost like photographers do when trying to get kids to look this way at Russia or that way, parents jingling keys and such - distraction, look this way! Throw in 300,000 Russian troops doing exercises that EVERYONE is watching....
As Russia continues to annex Ukraine getting a foothold back in Europe
Continues to send troops and supplies into Syria as it reestablishes and consolidate it's strongest foothold in the Middle East

Russia has always been an imperial power, or wanted to be. They just weren't very successful at it, and couldn't get a seat with the big kids in Europe, until 1945. And then they gave that all away in the early 90's. To the hardliners that was/is a betrayal to Mother Russia, especially the "Russian lands" like say...Ukraine.

He's not reckless or going to provoke a large conflict, but Putin, IMO, is old school Russian, and wants to restore Russia to the "rightful place" it deserves.

And Russia, the country and it’s people deserve a ‘rightful place’, it’s just that their leaders can’t help behaving like the mafia. This nonsense they are currently peddling is fine for those that want to believe, but is patently absurd and insulting to those with a brain.......

Oh, I can’t wait for him to put some spin on this. If you thought the interview funny then his response will be hilarious......

He's never recovered from once claiming the people of Hull thought Everton played great football in second season Martinez and that being justification for us keeping him on.

Actually, I wonder if these people of Hull were sports nutritionists who weren't too fond of the slush.... just passing through...

I've been on the fence with this one up to this point. Evidence and all that.

Well, there it is. A couple of Mickey takers.

I like this quote from our foreign secretary. 'The last time Russian military claimed to be on holiday was when they invaded Ukraine in 2014.’.........

Whilst I think the entire thing is a meme at this point, it did snow in March:

Don't do this to yourself number 25...So they wanted to see Stonehenge did they? I can understand that, after all it is a unique tourist attraction. They must have been gutted when they travelled all the way from London to Salisbury only to be defeated by the slush. Like you posted, Stonehenge was indeed closed on Saturday March 3rd. They must have been gutted to travel all that way and for nothing? So they have a coffee and return to London.

The next day (Sunday 4th March) our dynamic duo decide to travel all the way back to Salibury as the weather had warmed up. You can imagine they would be really looking forward to finally seeing Stonehenge.

However for some reason they decided not to visit Stonehenge, even though it was open to tourists on Sunday 4th (1200 or so tourists visited the site on Sunday). Our intrepid Sports nutritionists decided instead to take a stroll round the residential area of Salisbury rather than visit one of the UK's main tourist attactions?

They're just two "honest lads". lol

To be fair, everyone knows the way to stop a Russian is a little cold weather and snow. They just don't have the ability to cope with that type of weather. It's like throwing humidity at a Panamanian.
