My opinion is still that this matter has it roots in Russia but the handling has been nothing short of embarrassing. The governments behaviour specifically that of Johnson has undermined the entire position and the finger pointing at Corbyn now has to look ridiculous.

The whole thing has been about blaming Russia without actually doing anything to scare Russian money away; what Corbyn would have done is had a proper investigation followed by a proper response, which would have made a lot of people in and around the City lose money.
I agree with that , rushing to judgment means we’re starting to lose control of the narrative now .

The likes of the Mail and Co followed the Government brief it was Russia and this was the only place the Nerve agent could come from. It was comical from the off, and the public lapped it up without a second thought.
When i questioned it i got accused of being brainwashed by Putin. Amazing when i don't watch or read any Russian media.
Just look at the history of our press, if they said it was sunny i would look out the window and check.

It probably was Russia - they have the form for doing it as well as a motive - but the actions of the Government have been as daft as their actions on everything else have been.

As has been said I happen to think the Russians are involved , that’s my opinion , but for me to say it is one thing . For a government to accuse is another , now they’ve probably got evidence that can’t be put into the public domain but that doesn’t mean that they can bend the information they do have to fit their position .

There are no high profile competent politicians in this country. You usually see most of them as terrible but not every single one.
How the likes of Johnson, Rees-Mogg, Thornberry and Abbott are actually in the roles they are is incredible to me.
