One thing I have noticed... Everytime Yorkshire put bat on ball it seemed to race to the boundary. The outfield has really slowed down now, so seems like a poor decision by Buttler to chase.

Good knock by Duckett, hopefully he can carry his recent form into the Ashes. Although this is barely a county standard bowling line up unfortunately. I was hoping Ireland could be more competitive

I know Crawley got a 50 but I can't see him scoring any runs in the ashes. A very fluky 50 against very average bowlers.
He edged a lot of balls past his stumps from what I saw. I don't think he's good enough against the quality of the Aussies bowling attack, but I guess time will tell.
….with this game v Ireland being over 4 days, does it count as an official test for stats, averages etc? Also wondering if Duckett‘s century gets his name on the Lords Board.

Believe he does get on the board as they mention it on TMS. Also root passed 11000 test runs so guess it is counted
