Loved the first ball after lunch, Sam Curran took the new ball and Onions smacked him for 6. Morkel clearly the difference. Great game, though.

Good effort from Lancs yesterday against probably the best side in the country but ultimately I can't see anything but relegation now.

Doubt we'd have been down there had Jimmy, Buttler and Jennings been available all season but that's a different argument altogether.

Still, I'm looking forward to watching the T20 quarter final against Kent later and if it's anywhere near as good as the match against them three years ago on the same ground we're in for a thriller. Made up to hear England have released Buttler to play.
