I would assume Buttler gets it yeah. Seems the obvious choice and I imagine Stokes won't want it.

He might get a few games for Lancs in September once the hundred ends. Or he would get to play at finals day if they make it.

Weirdly, I heard Sangakarra yesterday on commentary saying he should replace Crawley and open the batting. I don't really think it would work, but it would definitely be interesting to see. I reckon Mccullum will want to find a place for him somewhere in the test side.

Couldn't really see him as an opener against the moving ball. He's 31 now, probably his Test career is behind him.

He’s been pretty poor in that of late. Looks like his confidence and game has dropped off a cliff last couple of years. Will be in the england set up in some capacity in the next 5 years I reckon.
