My one main complaint with the new Stokes Mccullum style is that they still spread the field and bowl short the minute no.9 comes in. And all of a sudden they scored 40 in about 6 overs. I don't get it. Southee will nick one if you bowl normally.

I started in that era as well! Used to go over to OT on the train with my Grandad who became a member there when he retired from The Gas Board in Bootle!
P.S The same Grandad who was a season ticket holder at Anfield, was persuaded by his mates who took him to the match, to travel with them to Heysel!! He arrived at the stadium, heard what was going on inside, turned round went back to his hotel and never went to a football match again!
…as a kid, I still have an image of Clive Lloyd moving so smoothly at pace, picking up a ball and throwing it into the wicketkeeper at Aigburth. It was just so graceful & has stuck with me to this day.
