Agreed. In my mind for a cricket nation to be undisputed top of the tree in test cricket, they'd need to win a test series in Australia. New Zealand were there in December / January 2019/2020 and got whacked 3-0. In fact I'd go so far as to say aside from the Australian dominance in the mid-late 1990's and early 2000's, the only other cricket nation in my lifetime who were undisputedly the best in the world were the West Indian sides of the 1980's.
