Been great watching him bowl this morning, well supported by the three seamers. Nothing in the pitch for them though. Really good battle with Hammond batting well for Gloucester, a sentence more often seen in the 1920s and 30s!

By the skin of their teeth, or rather the slightest flick of the bail to dismiss Lace, who batted heroically, and then finest of nicks off Warner to win the game. Great days cricket.
Hope Ali has a few days rest before we crank him up for the next game. I reckon Bailey will come in for Anderson, while Luke Wood trotted on a couple of times as 12th man so should be fit to play. Lamb didn't bowl at all in the 2nd innings so could be Wood for him.

Good to see Anderson in the squad - if the conditions look suitable they should play him, although it means he probably won't play in the next home game, given they said he's likely to play in three games in this run. Jennings being fit means he;s likely to replace Balderson at the top of the order. Ideally Balderson would bat 6 or 7 but he may be rested given he bowled quite a few overs last week - Luke Wood could bat 7.
