Provided Warwickshire do not win - and Somerset will not be inclined to indulge in contrivances after being the victims of one when Middlesex won the title in 2016 - Lancashire will be champions, by a whisker.
This above point on contrived finishes won't be lost on Somerset, they infamously lost out to a ridiculous deal done between two captains in Middlesex's last match in 2016 (did both Middlesex and opposition captain have money on Middlesex or something?).
To lose out and a whole season of sweat, toil and hard work be binned at the very last by such artificial and contrived means so that captain's agreements make s game out of an obvious draw must have hurt like hell for Somerset.
Somerset have never won the championship and being denied in such a fashion will never be forgotten. I'd imagine any attempt by Warwickshire to agree a set target will be dismissed out of hand. Somerset have little to gain out of winning and won't want to hand another side the opportunity to artificially win a crucial game.
