Absolutely blew it. That 90 minutes in the morning session took us from favourites to outsiders. No top 3 doesn't help either.

Although we got the wrong result great advert for test cricket. Neither bat or ball was dominant and with no weather about got a result and used nearly all the time available.

I'd like to apologise to England cricket and all the England fans by once again turning on my radio and precipitating a betting collapse. I will never learn.

We had 3 men on the boundary when bowling short, India crowded the bat ( which to Jos Buttler is mental btw ) and then bowled short, got the batsmen guessing and then full length and got the edges.

I sometimes wonder if Root should give up the captaincy and maybe go up the order. He averaged 40 as an opener and that was in a home series against Australia. I know that would weaken our middle order but quite often he is effectively playing as an opened anyways as we generally lose 2 quick wickets.
