…I wondered what was going on, thought the stream had frozen.
Looks like play might be abandoned for the day due to the wet patch where Dom Leech slipped. I don't know why work isn't being done to try and dry the area out. Criticism too of the umpires who deemed the ground fit to play. It's all a bit of a farce.

From what I saw, and they didn't show a replay, he slid behind the boundary, maybe contacting his knee with something. Just put tonnes of sawdust on the affected area.
Yes I've watched it back - he's at least a yard outside the playing area. He runs around from long on, parries the bouncing ball for a teammate to pick up, his momentum takes him over the boundary where he slips awkwardly, obviously in a lot of pain.

I suspect they'd be playing if there was a full house. All it needs is a bit of matting putting down in that area outside the boundary, so the players will know not to run on it.

Other than sawdust on the bowlers run ups I can't say I'd noticed anyone else slipping and sliding.

I've just had a look on the Yorkshire Twitter feed and apparently the umpires were looking at the run ups, not the boundary, which makes it even more strange as they'd been playing for a few hours.
