With the Leach dismissal they eventually used the stump camera which, from a lower angle, clearly showed the catch was cleanly taken. Wasn't done for the Stokes catch - perhaps it wasn't possible with him stood deeper but the 3rd umpire was too quick to give not out.Should have looked at all the angles before giving it.
There was one in our innings, might have been Leach's wicket, that looked like it hit the ground, but amazingly they didn't seem to get a good angle on the replay. And they didn't zoom in. And they didn't have the proper slow mo (frames were missing).
i wondered if the 'neutral' home umps would raise their finger as often for LBW's knowing umpires call would save them..
3rd umpire again..
Yep, they've certainly had the lion's share of the umpire calls go their way.And... First one not out.
Shock horror
Its cheating. Simple really. The ICC and ECB won't dare do anything thoughYep, they've certainly had the lion's share of the umpire calls go their way.
One of them (Broad/Anderson/Archer) should have been left out for this one, that’s assuming Stokes can bowl. Somehow we look a batsman short and a spinner short, a weird selection. Mind you, 2 of your top 3 going for a duck is hard to come back from.Really miss woakes and Buttler lower down the order. Understand it’s difficult to really drop broad or Anderson and Archer offers something extra.
