Cricket

This commentary is the cricket equivalent of Mark Lawrenson's predictions where Liverpool don't lose a game for about 9 years. It's unreal.

Not listening to the commentary is it bad? Normally cricket commentary is very balanced and fair. Even fella's you think will be a bit ropey like McGrath, Warne and Mitchel Johnson are very reasonable. Far more so than football.

It's not biased in an unfair way, if you get what I mean, just in the way that it sounds like Indian fans commentating. They laughed at England appealing for an LBW that turned out be umpires call, immediately said that Leach's wicket was an inside edge etc.

The thing is, for obvious reasons (overhand of colonialism) defeating and mocking England is probably fair game in India. It's obvious based on Indian TV too. C4 have essentially just bought the package off Indian TV, partially because of price but also because of of Coronavirus practacalities.

I haven't been listening to the commentary.

Use as many replays as you like I think most of those decisions have been pretty conclusive to India’s favour.

I don’t get the moaning tbh.
What? Rohit sharma is playing a diff game to any eng batsman. As in he doesn't need to be arsed staying in his crease the 3rd ump will give him not out

And don't even start on all these 'umpire call' LBW decisions

I said at the end of the last test that England should be wary of sweeping a tall left-arm bowler like Patel, but I didn't intend them to cut it out altogether! Barely saw one all innings; instead they seemed to have made a collective decision to play back as much as possible, which only got them into trouble.

Patel and Ashwin were superb, barely bowling a single bad ball between them, but some attempt should have been made to knock them off their length, not necessarily by playing big shots but by trying to come down the pitch and pushing the ball for quick singles, and, yes, the occasional controlled sweep. There was a statistic shown that after 248 deliveries, 200 had been dot balls. They are fine bowlers, but England's passivity played into their hands.
