I'm glad we won (my god, we needed to), however the long-standing feeling that the art and draw of test match is dying has only been fuelled further.
It was watchable, and the ball/pitch has to be a part of it, so important to not get carried away, but I still feel a bit meh...

Good result, got to be said it was a poorly prepared pitch. Only about 2 full days of cricket and 40 wickets.
On another matter, today was the Special General Meeting at Lancashire regarding the vote of no confidence in the board. The board prevailed by 60:40 margin, but 40% of members moved enough to vote this way suggests there is a fundamental problem. Let’s see what happens…..
