The rain, it raineth every day
Shows the paucity of Test cricket for most countries.
Glamorgan 125-4, 14 overs. Need a further 77 off 6 overs.

Another wicket gone now. Livingstone having a good match, most sides ever in a T20 match for Lancashire - 8. Now, 3-13, of his 4 overs.A wicket maiden from Livingston seems to have settled the game
If you can't defend 41 off the last two overs you shouldn't be a professional cricketer. Some rank bowling at the end, half trackers, wides, no balls, and a full toss at the end, absolutely pitiful.….my word, low point for Lancs losing that.
Yeah apart from him, obviously!Brook.
I can't help but think that makes zero senseCan't help but be cynical and think that it's not a coincidence that England can't bat and lo and behold the first test after an Ashes trouncing is on a pitch that no-one could bat on.
If your team struggles at batting, having a pitch that everyone struggles to bat on negates any batting advantage the opposition has.I can't help but think that makes zero sense
I dont think it does, having a flatty that suits aggressive batting vulnerable to movement does, this pitch plays into the so called weaknesses of this side. The theory also ignores the recent history of Lords that extends way beyond our poor ashes and its only been saved by the money obsessed with keeping the money there. If your team struggles at batting, having a pitch that everyone struggles to bat on negates any batting advantage the opposition has.
NZ has a better bowling attack than England, if it was true it would be incredibly risky. Also picking a spinner that wouldn't need to bowl on a seamer prepared pitch also makes little sense. Other than that, it's a theory I guessIf your team struggles at batting, having a pitch that everyone struggles to bat on negates any batting advantage the opposition has.
