Craig Bellamy

Hang on .... Don't have him because he's an ex Rs??? I give you John Morrisey, Kevin Sheedy & a couple of others.

The good reasons not to have him would be, as mentioned by so many, an exorbitant fee and / or wages.

As it happens, I think he's made his pile & would settle for much lower wages; the fee thingy, noone knows about.

i would deffo have him ok he can be a pain we all know that but no 1 can say he is not a very good player i also think he like moyes and he would get his head down if he came to our great club

I like Bellamy (not just cos im Welsh honest) but don't know if he would come here.
Think Cardiff City are after him as well, he could be tempted there, wife and kids are living here plus all his bar's etc are in Cardiff, so doubt he'd want to go back up Scotland or stay in England if Cardiff offer him the wages.

Bellamy is an absolute gob [Poor language removed] but is a very decnt player. Runs all day long and can find the back of the net. If Moyes could sew his mouth together he could be a great addition.

Never thought I would say that...

If he could stay healthy he's a hell of a player. Did great with Hughes at striker for Blackburn and RW for City so could provide some much needed cover at striker. He has seemed to mature as well.

Well he has the work rate similar to when we had andy johnson, except he doesnt get pushed around and actually scores quite regularly...

...So he'd be great imo, especially in our team, add some much needed pace

Like a Welsh Landon Donovan only with more baggage and the ability to start a fight in an empty room.

I don't think he'd have attitude problems here. He's said in the past he's a fan of Moyes, in fact I think I remember Bellamy going up to Moyes or something after the Mancini fight and saying Moyes was right? It was something with those implications, if not those exact circumstances. And when Felli made a tit out of him he was pretty gracious afterwards. I think he's matured, and the problems he's having now are with just cause; he was one of their best players last season, but Mancini's showing him no respect and casting him out.

I really don't know about this one. I actually think Bellamy is a decent guy and I think there's a good chance Moyes could get the best from him. Whoever said they think he'd like Moyes I agree with. It's obvious to see what he could bring to the team as well. From a footballing point of view he'd be a really good addition and give us another dimension to our attack.

He comes with a lot of baggage and does seem to fall out with his colleagues a lot but maybe our club is different. We've got such team character that I don't think the other lads would put up with a bit of it.

My main opposition to him would be the fact he's 31, seems to be picking up more injuries as he gets older and would probably be on fairly hefty wages.

Would certainly be a gamble and could be a fairly expensive one, but could potentially pay off. Do the potential benefits outweight the risks? I'm not sure.
