Bryan Ferry's admiration of nazi iconography and pageantry is particulary obnoxious.
Don't know owt about him mate and I wasn't making any ethical judgement on those you've been highlighting or others, just sayin in response to the above post, music divorced from social and political influence is probably just pulp pop, and to add, intentionally so.

And for the record, I believe the Clapton quote above is out of order, but was probably fairly common at the time.

Oh yeah, good music can be about social commentary. There's also music for escapism too though. Nothing wrong with that!

Ferry:

We live in a world where he's forgiven and lauded and Corbyn is vilified.

Well, that in itself can be political, just like the CIA funding Pollock and the Saatchi stable refinement of the Postmodern.

If the right is an honest reflection of things then that is absolutely disgusting.
There's form to this.

Government food box supplied in the first wave last spring supplied by another private contractor Bidfood and Brakes for £44 in a £208M contract:

Apart from the odd bit of fruit and veg, pretty much non-nutritional junk that the likes of Aldi were selling for £25 at the time.

Seen this reply, imagine my shock when I went on his profile and seen he's a socialist red, tit

I’ve seen other replies talking about the costs of running the company.

I struggle to understand how people can be so callous and mistrusting. Yes, there are some parents who abuse children. There are some parents who put themselves first. But the idea that all families who require help are like that.
It’s the idea that poor people are poor because they are lazy and druggies and alcoholics and care more about TVs then their child being fed. Or the idea that if they are poor then they aren’t allowed to have children.

The idea of some middle manager that thinks he’s a success because he earns an average salary, got 8 GCSEs above a C, a rubbish degree in marketing and an Audi on finance, pontificating about parents not being trusted is everything that is wrong with this country.
