This isn’t unusual I think. A friend in her 20s works as a volunteer at a Covid vaccine clinic and got one after being told they were getting chucked otherwise.

Putting aside the obvious politics, I’d rather left over doses were used rather than thrown away....

TBF, she wasn;t part of a government party issuing age-stratified timetables on vaccine uptake.

Why would they be thrown away? It's in a hospital. Are we really supposed to believe no one was a more vulnerable candidate than a 40 year old MP?

I’ve no idea about expiry dates or temperature. Apparently all sorts of mates and family members get them as well....

That's right. However in that instance there is an issue of a BAME MP leading the way so that members of that community reluctant to take it will take it.

True enough, I think he had a transplant a few years back, but there are lot's of people in a similar position or worse and they haven't jumped the queue. Both the Tory and the Labour MP did this and should be equally criticised.
