The solution to all this is simple, if you need to phone Everton for anything at all. Just have a tommy tank while making the call, money well spent and you make a saving compared to them dirty numbers.

I don't have too many of these moments at this point anymore, but the fact that there are so many pay-per-minute phone numbers in Britain, especially when you're trying to do something like buy a ticket or get tech support, absolutely blows my mind.

Getting back on subject as I am not in the habit of calling the club on a regular basis I take it that the 10p per minute applies to all the clubs info phone lines and if I wanted to spend 30p on sweets I'd go get penny chews if you can still get them. Fruit salads or Black Jacks!

Serious question - did you ring from a mobile?

Some of the charges from a mobile are extortionate. Funnily enough, I recently had the misfortune of phoning a Student Loans Repayment company from a mobile. An 0845 number, 35p a minute, and they had me on hold for 20 minutes, with a further 5 minutes to sort out my query. That's nearly £9 spent, that couldn't be avoided.

So although it does seem a funny topic to complain about, it all adds up. I do understand where you're coming from mate.
