My mother in law recently got a letter to say she is over £1000 in credit. I think she pays a predicted amount per month based on the previous years bill, but they have 1 less person living there now and with the rising costs have been much more mindful of usage. Could it be something similar to your situation?

There are many among us that have no problem, possibly even enjoy being a mirror to the Ebenezer Scrooge character from the opening of A Christmas Carol.
