Only someone working in an office would think people should work to 71..
I would say an office is one of the worst places to work to old age. Unless you have looked after yourself outside of work, then you will invariably be relatively unfit compared to an in the field worker in my opinion. As a man who retired at 62, no way would I advocate anyone being required to work past 65. I appreciate that some have their health and will simply enjoy it. Would also say from a mental point of view an office gets very difficult. Young minds are quicker and able to embrace new technology far easier

Not necessarily. I am much older than everyone in my team. I am a contractor that stayed technical as I hate managing. I could literally stay until I am a hundred and still whallop those bozos.

Unfortunately I probably will have to work until I am a hundred...

As I said, always exceptions. Due to early life (30) car crash injuries, I was starting to struggle just getting up a couple of flights of stairs as the arthritis set in. Sure there would be many like me.

@Rita_Poon and @Yarrgh, no need to feel sorry for me, in fact RP you will have me down as “I’m alright Jack” as I have sufficient provision to go early. Still try to get my 10000 a day in, but come down the stairs one at a time 🤣
You don't rub it in others faces whilst volunteering them for a dose of what you won't take. So 'alright Jack' doesn't apply. Stairs are a problem, and have been a growing concern for a few years. They not help you out with some anti arthritis stuff? And do you do the full cod liver regimen and the other good stuff. Takes as much time and effort to try to be pain free as it does top athletes gearing up for the olympics. Good for you on the pension provision. I'll be working remote from my casket.

Was on the naproxen which affected the liver too much apparently. It’s a slippery slope 🤣

NHS dentistry on the news. Some guy in a queue to the horizon outside some new practice. "It's broken britain, it's soviet era britain now".

All the benefits, the sunlit uplands and all that extra money for the NHS.
Is this somehow related to immigration in Bristol?
