Comes to something when a compliant poodle for the Establishment like Maitlis is having a pop at them.

She pointedly was thinking of Cheltenham.

Going ahead with Cheltenham was particularly crass and senseless, as it defiantly went ahead with the fourth day's racing while sport after sport was closing down all around it.

Charlie Austin is one who thinks Cheltenham was where he caught it.

I posted at the time

'It may ultimately prove impossible to know if it was wise or foolish to go ahead with Cheltenham. Defiance might yet turn to regret.'

And time is now perhaps showing that Cheltenham will be regretted by many for a long time to come.

I’m conflicted on this for lots of reasons but the whole problem with the virus is that we won’t know how many people from there have spread it to who’ve subsequently died.

I have however recieved a message today that a couple I usually see at aintree and other meetings have bought caught the virus and sadly they husband had just passed away . They were both at Cheltenham.

Sorry to hear that.....

Ireland is days away from launching a corona virus contact tracing app.

Apparently all citizens will be asked to download it.

The app uses smart phone technology to record the phone numbers of phones you’ve been infectious proximity off.

To be used for contact tracing if someone is diagnosed.

Covid-19: HSE says contact tracing app could be rolled out 'in the next 10 days'

So long as you know that deinstalling it fully removes it's functionality, I'd have no problem with having such an app on my phone.
