Tell you what though, the startlingly piss poor imagination of TV people is grinding my gears.

The BBC did some decent stuff last weekend, granted, but ITV have a live England home friendly sized hole to fill tonight.

Solution? A Star Wars film ffs.

I’m sure others may disagree but I can’t help but think it was over the top personally .

There's going to be more incidents and it going to become distressing. Law enforcement doesn't make the law they just apply it. If you are in a situation were you have been detained, don't argue with the cops. Take legal recourse and argue it through the court system. That is your right. Use it.

He's not. He is still immobilized but he can "communicate" by moving his eyebrows from what I read. Basically he's barely functioning. Hopefully he improves significantly but I can't believe he woke up at all.

What are people’s thought on that woman sat alone on a bench in an empty park approached by the police and told to go home ? It felt heavy handed personally , not in a group , nothing more really than somebody who may not have a garden trying to cope with an incredibly stressful time .

I’m sure others may disagree but I can’t help but think it was over the top personally .

Totally agree...a bit of common sense wouldn’t go amiss during this period......

The startling lack of imagination to replace 2 plus hours of a football with an old film. thats what.

ITV must have tons of football in their archives; a certain title deciding match springs to mind. So they have had time to cobble something together that the football supporter could enjoy. For a change.

It's not that old. 2015, seems an alright choice to me. Broadcasting an old match would have been terrible imo lol

A whole match would be a terrible idea, I agree. But imagine if they did a programme about past WCs or Euros, or the league when they had the rights. Something to look forward to in the sporting wasteland at least.
