I think people should stop being so desperate to get themselves tested for the virus.. Even if it's confirmed that you have it, it won't change anything. You can't cure it! You might as well stay at home, and try to get better - which will decrease the chances of you spreading it, or getting it if it wasn't coronavirus you had to begin with.

This goes double for those of you who are urging people to stay at home to help the struggling hospitals flooded with people. Do you really want to exacerabate the trouble by going in and demanding to be tested?

What I find odd is how many famous people are getting the virus and are fine with it. Whether it's Idris Elba, Tom hanks, probably now Boris Johnson.

I did have a feeling Johnson would catch it at some point, just a matter of time before it was announced.

But yeah, many cases in hospital all over the world with the virus yet not a single famous person has ended up there. Just strikes me as a little odd.

I'm not saying they don't have it neither. Given the perspective media wise that it is almost like a plague of sorts, it's odd that they don't have a famous person as poster child for how bad this is, only us normal people

Well u could go down the evangelical right wing Pro trump conspiracy rabbit hole and find the answers there. Essentially the top celebrities and politicians worldwide are being arrested for being in a massive child abuse smuggling operation. Very interesting read taken with huge pinch of salt but much more interesting narrative than just a random virus

This is a palace coup against Johnson by the Tory grandees. That 'misplaced' EU procurement email and boy wonder Sunak's pathetic performance was the straw that broke the camels back, and they moved overnight to get rid of Johnson.

His son's self isolating ( or was a few days ago ) and his son works for McDonnell. I get that the leader of the opposition can't really quarantine himself, but he's no spring chicken, so hopefully he'll pretty much take the official advice once a new leader's in place and drastically cut his social contacts.

If he was your 70 year old father and not in politics, what would you be saying to him, just carry on with your job dad, it'll be fine ?
