I agree, but lots of professionals and politicians were in the same position, but you frequently decry their early decisions. Yes, they turned out poor often, but made with malice, I would really hope to believe not.

I was calling for a lockdown way before Boris the Butcher even stopped shaking hands with people in hospital.

But the rights and wrongs are worthless when so many brave souls have been taken.

Its how we move on that matters.

No not at all. None of the named symptoms other than the cough, which was the only reason I tested and that because my son insisted as he was involved in NHS data studies. The after effects were the worst

With the exception of 2 things, everything tastes heavily over salted to me. The exceptions:

1) Tinned rice pudding.
2) Draught Guinness (based on a 2 pint scientific trial last night).

Now this tells me that I won’t starve but I may end up a funny shape.

I’m fully vaxed and took Covid last Thursday and am still positive. On an average week I walk around 40 miles and now I’m gasping for breath walking up the stairs. It will pass over me but for Christ’s sake think of others who will be hit hard by it. Get your jab and wear a mask when appropriate.

My community has already been destroyed by successive governments but i digress....you`re really ill and you are vaccinated up the kazoo against the covids so maybe it was the vaccinations that made you ill!
What`s the point in being vaccinated when it doesn`t stop you getting corono or even from passing the corono on, even?

I got Covid 11 months from my last booster. I reasonably suspect that had I been vaccinated more recently then I wouldn’t have been as badly affected.

Cases are rising and reminders are being put out regularly on TV.
They are recommending mask wearing on public transport and in busy indoor places.
The minister says he will not hesitate to reintroduce obligatory mask wearing if the situation gets worse after the year end festivities.
So it's not gone away as many people are claiming.

It was never going away.

UK have double jabbed (flu and covid) millions over the last few months. I am at the low end of "at risk", under 60, and my lad who is vulnerable, (low grade), we were both jabbed 3 weeks ago.

Cooping everyone up, then opening the floodgates all at once, is not the way. At least we were smart enough to re-open by degrees, so that we didn't break the health care system over our collective knee. We strained it pretty hard a few times, but nothing like what they're likely to face.

I suspect the objective is demonstrating that the nanny surveillance state knows best, and that any casualties are considered necessary fallout by the politicians.
