Please get your vaccine folks. Do the right thing for yourself and your community.

I’m fully vaxed and took Covid last Thursday and am still positive. On an average week I walk around 40 miles and now I’m gasping for breath walking up the stairs. It will pass over me but for Christ’s sake think of others who will be hit hard by it. Get your jab and wear a mask when appropriate.

And btw I got it in March after 3 vaccines. While the illness was nothing, the after effects ie breathlessness and the constant clearing of the bronchial tracts every morning was debilitating. Just had another respiratory virus (not Covid) and had the same problems for 3 weeks. Never been like that before, but maybe old age.

I think I will be a while before I’m fighting fit and have to agree about the bronchial bit. Did you lose taste at all?

No not at all. None of the named symptoms other than the cough, which was the only reason I tested and that because my son insisted as he was involved in NHS data studies. The after effects were the worst

I will admit when it first blew up I did dismiss it as "just the flu bro".

But once I read and saw the devastation it left in its path, I changed my view.

Its quite hard to be knowledgable about something I had never seen before in my lifetime.

As if anybody knew that it would basically wipe 2 years from most people lives, well apart from the 1s it didnt kill.

I agree, but lots of professionals and politicians were in the same position, but you frequently decry their early decisions. Yes, they turned out poor often, but made with malice, I would really hope to believe not.
