Having taken loads of neg LFTs over the past couple of years, staring at them each time with laser focus until the last micro second of the test duration expired, this result was immediate. No VAR required.
The Mrs is still neg so the soup and sympathy is flowing.

Ha, same. Tested positive yesterday for first time.
Was sat there ready to watch closely for 30 minutes with eagle eyes as usual, and the positive result came up clear as day within 30 seconds.

From the two times we've had it in the household its always been the same for us, even at the start and end it was nowhere near half an hour, more like from immediate to under 5 minutes

Just gone through my session with it. Glad I’d had the 3 jabs. Still short of breath walking the dog. I am almost 62 though and have not led a blameless life.

Wife and I fell ill on Tuesday and tested positive. We are strutting about the house like stiff boards. It's horrid. I don't understand how they can be relaxing all the restrictions. Here in Scotland one in eleven has the virus.
Sounds like they`re going full on herd immunity mate.
My eldest ads school is so short of teachers and teaching assistants, that they`ve got each year learning online at home, one day a week, just to spread the staff that they`ve got out.
I have a mate who has flu symptoms but doesn’t have covid. She’s worried about taking any time off work though as it’s likely she’ll get covid again at some point and lose money after maxing out sick day allowance. Something has to change.
Day 3 of symptoms today. Feel fine other than a real nasty sore throat, and intermittent cough.

I had my booster 4 months ago on Friday, by which time research suggests protection will have fallen to about 40%
I'm not sure it's quite as protective as people think, which is perhaps why we have so many cases right now.
