It's done until this mindset family becomes very poorly with it. Then they scream thrash and stamp their feet about unfair it all is... Here it all the time, my job is to pick up pieces of of lives that is effected by such events and hopefully put together again, but rarely the same...It’s done lad. Move forth!
And why isn’t there much focus on improving ventilation standards? We have the technology and it would help with other airborne diseases like flu and rsv so seems like it would pay back a lot of its upfront costs over time in reduced absenteeism, illness and death.“Living with Covid” is ok, it’s dying with Covid that bothers me. People just taking responsibility for their own lives rather than their families or their friends or their neighbours is pretty short sighted.
How is not testing, not wearing a mask or not isolating “taking responsibility” anyhow?

I’m immunosuppressed along with thousands of others. All my immediate family are vaccinated and I’ve had four but remain vulnerable. A substantial proportion of the British public will simply do as they like because mask wearing is a huge impingement on their freedom. The most important thing is to convince family members to get vaccinated and boosted. They will then be in a very good position against the current variant. All of the older members of my family have had it, all are triple vaccinated and all were absolutely fine.
I disagree with getting rid of free testing but vaccination is the easiest way to protect yourself/family.

Not sure if this has been posted. Sometimes it’s the way that facts are presented, rather than just the facts themselves which can be eye opening. I knew that politics and the Internet was to blame for the mess in the UK and US but this video is just, wow.

Well it isn't. I agree that people should still do these things regularly, just as I do, but I don't want to be penalized with widespread restrictions again just because people can't look after themselves/be a bit more responsible is what I'm ultimately trying to say. The line needed to be drawn.“Living with Covid” is ok, it’s dying with Covid that bothers me. People just taking responsibility for their own lives rather than their families or their friends or their neighbours is pretty short sighted.
