It reduces the risk and therefore overall number of infections. Its a bogus argument you're making. I wear a hellet playing hurling to reduce my chance of getting a hurl or sliotar in the noggin. I may still get one but much less chance.

It’s a bogus argument that people that don’t have covid can’t spread covid? Heard it all now.

That analogy doesn’t work, because it wouldn’t stop you taking a whack to the head, it’d just stop it from giving you a broken skull. It wouldn’t make the object disappear.

Its a bogus argument that because you can still get infected despite being jabbed that covid passports are of no use.

Where did i sat people who dont have covid spread covid ?

The helemt would reduce the seriousness of the bang on the head - same way a vaccine reduces the severity of illness. You know this already I presume so lets not continue in a circular argument.

Vaccination makes you less likely to transmit the virus and less likely to be hospitalised because of it. Therefore an unvaccinated person is a larger threat to spreading the virus AND burdening the NHS. Isn't that correct?

Well yeah, I do know that already, but that’s not what we’re discussing. I’ve never argued that the vaccines don’t reduce the severity of illness. We’re discussing a mandate that is going to do absolutely nothing to stop the spread of the virus.

An unvaccinated person that doesn’t have covid is not a threat to spreading the virus or burdening the NHS, no.

Proof of negative test is the only effective measure to prevent spread in public places. Change my mind.

I don't agree with it but I think the idea is the burden on healthcare and coercing to get the vaccine(s ongoing). Once they finally admit its not about stopping spread, because data on that makes it a clearly laughable position, then any arguments against them disappear without sounding crazy

It's the most effective, not the only one. Proof of vaccination prevents a small % transmission of cases, and those people are at less risk of burdening the NHS, so it is more tolerable to allow the virus to spread between them.

We've already covered it but anyway - its all about risk - being vaccinated reduces the risk of being infectious and infecting someone else and so on and so on. Unvaccinated more chance of being infectious so more chance of spread.

You could alternatively make eveyone doing a professionally administered antigen test prior to entry - make them wait 15 mins before entry but how would a small bar organise all that? Far easier to check you're been vaccinated and/or boosted or just had covid.

Well in England they've taken prior immunity away as an option now

The truly sad thing is that Serbia has a very low rate of vaccinations and one of the highest excess death rates in the world over the last two years.
...coupled I'm sure, with a large dose of - multi-millionaire's entitlement and there's 'No show without Punch' so the rules can be waived for me - attitude
