Looks roughly similar to the modelling, slightly ahead but generally the same trajectory. Really is about how much can be tolerated by the NHS now. My interpretation is that Lockdowns would only flatten that Jan/Feb curve and spread it out, so would we be in restrictions til April time as we always assumed? Either way I think tonight is one last big blowout for all those so inclined before we head back to the dark times for a bit

Unless someone unhinged genuinely believes the unvaccinated are evil nasty suoer spreaders and go and takes matters into their own hands so to speak like we've seen with Jo Cox, David Amess, racist, homophoboic etc attacks.

We are heading into Nazi Germany territory particularly in mainland Europe scapegoating marginalised groups in society and talking about mandatory jabs, people being booted out of employment etc and you claim that isn't setting a dangerous precedent lol

If you read what I’ve written, I think vaccine passports are a bad idea. All I have said is that on this forum I have been surprised and saddened by some of the misinformation thrown about. Personally if I was a mod I’d be issuing some thread bans, as I wouldn’t want anyone vulnerable to read some of it.

I do think it’s a little grim to evoke the genocide of 6 million Jews to attempt to get your point across as well.

Demonising groups of people in society and talking about restriction of freedoms / employment etc. is very dangerous and radical.

You have had people in this very thread stating unvaccinated shouldn't be given treatment for COVID etc.

I think when they open concentration camps , nationalise the businesses of the unvaccinated, burn their books , ban mixed vaccinated unvaccinated marriages or even sex then I suspect you can put them in similar contexts . Otherwise I think some could describe it as hyperbole.

No one is saying its the same however there are a lot of naive folk around who believe Nazi Germany happened overnight and the day after they came to power Jews were getting beaten on the streets and chucked into trains heading to the concentration camps.

Persecution / attack on liberty/freedoms happens gradually over time with the brainwashing of the masses and what some may think as being minor inconveniences for the unjabbed can soon escalate over time and why stop at the unvaccinated? Those disabled and very elderly are certainly a burden on our NHS imagine if they were kept indoors a long with the unvaccinated think of the free ICU beds we could save...

That has been the policy for years anyrate. Not kept indoors as such, but at home, or in the community.

I’m pretty sure he encouraged it at the time. He was definitely against the BLM protests.

I have no problem with people being told to vote at the ballot box over smashing peoples property and toppling statues (although legimate protests such as Unions etc need to be protected).

Totally different to trying to create some Jim Crow inspired two tier society.

I'm not and think anyone admitted should be given the best treatment available to increase their chances of survival.
This is available beforehand e in the form of a vaccine.

What is frustrating is people making the decision not to vaccinate but happy with any other form of medical treatment which they also know little about or understand.

Didn't you say, in this thread, that you wished the media was state controlled?

Although, for what it's worth, I do agree that unvaxxed (not anti Vax) shouldn't be marginalised and that NHS workers shouldn't be sacked for not getting a vaccine.


I've always been pro legalisation of recreational drugs so it would be wrong of me to agree that governments should be able to choose what is in people's bodies.
