I’ve literally presented you with facts a number of times. You never offer any evidence to back up what you say. Anytime you get called out you move from under 40’s, to under 30’s, to under 21’s and the latest 19 year olds.

You posted a bunch of stats yesterday about adverse affects from the vaccines. But didn’t give any information on the age of the people that had those symptoms.

If you believe in the stuff you post, then back it up with proof. Otherwise you will continue to come off as an utter bell with an agenda

Whats the purpose of a vaccine?

To prevent death and serious illness.

So let me ask are these vaccines doing that 5-6 months in the majority of people aged under 40?

If the answer is yes then why are we so keen to booster these people and risk them getting an adverse reaction from the jabs themselves?

What are you on about? I haven’t brought politics into this at all. I haven’t mentioned case numbers. And I’m not arguing against the science. Once again you have shifted the goal posts without ever backing up your points with actual information.

I don’t think this article is making the point you want it to. Scientists discussing and working out whether the 4th shot is necessary. That’s what they should be doing and clearly what they are

Interesting paper that contradicts some others I have read, thanks for linking.

The myocarditis risks seem to be particularly associated with the 2nd Moderna dose which has 100mcg vs the Pfizer 30mcg.

Would expect to see some trials either extending the dosage interval or reducing the dosage if those results are substantiated on further data.

Interesting stuff. It changes the risk / benefit calculation in relation to that specific side effect, for that specific age cohort for sure.

Obviously, what’s needed is more science. How does that increased risk play out versus decreased risks elsewhere? How much does the vaccine / booster reduce transmission with the new variant? Etc.

Personally, I think the Omicron variant requires a huge reassessment of the relative risks, given it’s reduced severity. This will already be underway but will take time.

In my more optimistic moments, I think next year could see the beginning of the end of Covid. New, milder variant. Over half the world’s population now vaccinated. A more transmissible variant, which will get more people in direct contact with it. There’ll be another wave next winter for sure, but I’m pretty optimistic at this point (it might be the wine).
