With great difficulty at first, but if it wasn't covid it'd be climate change so mass events and long haul travel of the type I enjoy are on borrowed time anyway
I refuse to think like that.

He’s not a sheep, an extreme worrier maybeJust another pathetic sheep.
So, no effort to understand what it’s actually saying?
I mean here’s a line from that article:
“based on their modelling, hospitalisations could peak between 3,000 and 10,000 a day and deaths at between 600 and 6,000 a day.”
No mention of the word prediction, and you’ve taken the upper end of that model, to bolster your existing notion that the scientists are wrong and trying to scare us.
A bit of effort to understand these things isn’t hard.
Sorry to hear you’ve got the ‘Rona again.

If the vaccine does not stop you spreading it, does not stop it entering your body, only strengthens your immune system in order to fight the virus then why push for kids to get it?There seems to be a bit of a blind spot in terms of what people think a vaccine is for.
The aim of a vaccine is to teach your immune system to fight a virus. It teaches your body to recognise a threat and generate a response to that threat before the threat makes you seriously ill. That’s it really. In some cases the immune system will identify the virus and contain it before it replicates enough to even flag as present in the system via a test. In other people it contains the virus enough that it doesn’t do much damage but is still present enough that tests show that you have it.
What they don’t do is stop the virus from entering your system, and, if your immune system is compromised for whatever reason it still might not be strong enough to combat the virus. Particularly if a lot of the virus enters into your system in the first place.
To say that they aren’t effective based on their objective is frankly ignoring all data on the subject.
Thankfully even the 600 is starting to look unlikely at this point. The 7 day average is only just above 100 at the moment.
Very extreme. Scared of a cold. He’s not a sheep, an extreme worrier maybe
No one has said it’s a cold, just that it’s a milder strain than DeltaVery extreme. Scared of a cold.
How vauge is that, ranges from 600 deaths to 6000 daily deaths. Making it up as they go along. So, no effort to understand what it’s actually saying?

It’s not far off a cold.No one has said it’s a cold, just that it’s a milder strain than Delta
It can still land you in hospital, something a common cold doesn’t, that’s the differenceIt’s not far off a cold.
Loads of things can land you in hospital, dosent mean you just accept that will change your whole life. Brainwashed to death. It can still land you in hospital, something a common cold doesn’t, that’s the difference

thanks mateAh man you have no luck. On the plus side though you can still use your vaccine passport to go to @peteblue ‘s pub without scaring his vulnerable customers if you fancy a pint.
Take care fella x
Nice one mate.Yeah, you’re right Professor Potato. You clearly understand how these things work.
