I’ve read every single page of this thread. I’m not medically trained, but I respect those who are. The overwhelming MEDICAL advice throughout this thing for the last year or so has been to get vaccinated so as to protect ourselves and each other. Until such time as I can debate them on their 7+ years training, I’m taking that route. What else is there, other than taking that advice, plus using your own common sense?

Well considering hospitalisations aren’t going up either, I think we’ll have to wait longer than a week.

Unclear how much it is Delta, or our old friend with/from Covid, but unfortunately there has been an increase in Covid hospitalizations.


Hopefully get more data on breakdown early next week.

They’re not going up with the huge case increases though are they? It goes without saying that hospitalisations increase the colder the weather gets as they do every year.

Hospitlisations are going up, though no huge spike yet (actually lower than this time last month).

Omicron impact on Hospitilsations will probably be seen for definite around Xmas day, based on this.

Edit: We'll probably see a sharper rise above the peak on Monday when the new data is recorded. Will see if I can find a daily source.

no, and as already said (and as we've already seen) they will tend to lag a week or two behind case rises
